James V. Vitale PT

25 years of clinical experience after graduating from the Medical College of Ohio Physical Therapy program, with a BS, Physical Therapy from Bowling Green State University in 1983. He also has a BS, Biology from BGSU in 1980. Jim has been involved on Alumni Boards at BGSU and served on the Admissions Committee for the MCO Physical Therapy Program and was a volunteer faculty member for the physical therapy program for five years prior to operating the Spine Care & Rehabilitation Center. In addition, he is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
He gained an interest in treating orthopedic and spinal conditions in particular, from his initial work experience at St. Charles Hospital and continued his development through yearly continuing education coursework and private practice physical therapy since 1985.
His community involvement includes leading the Ottawa Hills High School Athletic Boosters for three years (2001-2004), coaching various youth sports teams, and is actively involved in an injury prevention sports conditioning program.
While at BGSU, he played varsity baseball for four years. In 2003, he was honored by his admission to the Start High School Hall of Fame.
